Goals of combined editing processes: 

  • Provide space for campus partners to scaffold their content intentionally across multiple spaces. 
  • Implement "just-in-time learning" for students to ensure efficiency and active learning in their transition to the UW. 
    •   Why active learning? It encourages learners to actively seek knowledge when they need it, promoting better knowledge retention.

We are excited to launch the 3 parts of A&O Part 1 on the following timeline: 

  • 1/6/25: Launch Campus Partner Content Editing Phase #1 
  • 1/21/25 by 5:00 p.m.: Deadline for Campus Partner Editing Phase #1 
  • 1/21/25- 2/7/25: NSTP Makes Phase #1 Edits 
  • 2/7/25 2/10/25- 2/21/25: Campus Partner Content Editing Phase #2 (Updated Phase 2 launch date made on 2/5/25)  
  • 2/24/25 -2/28/25: NSTP Makes Final Edits 
  • Beginning of March: First Year Checklist Launches & Print Publications go to print
  • *Updated 4/7/25 - 4/25/25: Campus Partner Content Editing Phase #3 (Husky Foundations course only)  
  • 4/1/25: Husky Guide sent to print
  • May 14: Husky Foundations course launch
  • First week of June: Husky Guides printed and assembled with Welcome Package
