In order to be a Husky Ambassador, the following is required:

  • Husky Ambassadors must have worked in a student leadership position at the University of Washington in Seattle. As of June 2026, only current and former FIG Leaders and Virtual Orientation Leaders, former Husky Ambassadors, and 2025 Dialogue Facilitators are eligible to apply. 
  • Be a full-time undergraduate (12 credit hours), enrolled autumn quarter 2026, at the University of Washington in Seattle. 
  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA 
  • Must be able to commit to attending the Husky Ambassador training days:
    • In-person training on September 17–18, time and location TBD
  • Review and be able to work the dates of Advising & Orientation Part 3 (September 22–29, 2026)
  • Be in good academic and conduct standing with the University, prior to and throughout the entire term of employment.
