New Student & Transfer ProgramsFirst-year Interest Groups (FIGs) and Extra Seats Register for a FIG! Students will have the opportunity to enroll in FIGs during their A&O session during their scheduled course registration.
This could change. Use Notify UW to receive free notifications about closed and open course sections via email or SMS text alerts.
Request a seat in a course that belong to FIGs but still has spaces left for non-FIG Enrollment. Seat requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you do not see a course listed, there are no non-FIG seats available.
Incoming students: We are unable to add your first class for you. Once you are registered for at least one other class, we will process your request.
Current students: You can request an extra seat at any point.
