
A team of First Year Programs staff has been nominated for the University of Washington Distinguished Staff Award for Impact for the 2023-2024 year. This award recognizes "individuals and teams... for making significant and positive contributions to a team, department, or campus or helped a specific audience or community."
Among FYP's professional staff, there are Meghan Coletta, Emily Kolby, Sarah O'Rourke, Courtney Saben, Nick Wedler, LeAnne Wiles, and Emma Yamamoto. The Distinguished Staff Award is the highest honor for staff at the University of Washington and is given to five nominees annually.
