Materials and supplies at A&O Part 3 are provided on a limited, case-by-case basis, and not all requests can be fulfilled, as priority is given based on programmatic need. 

Submission deadline & required information

• Submit requests to uwao@uw.edu by the following deadlines:
  • Summer/autumn: June 1
  • Winter: November 1
  • Spring: February 1
    • Late or incomplete requests may not be accommodated
• Include all required details to support review and approval, including:
  • Department information Primary contact Connection to A&O Part 3 goals and learning outcomes
  • Item description, size, and image (if available)
  • Any curriculum changes required (if applicable)
  • Corresponding slides (if applicable)

Additional notes

• If you are requesting to submit material(s) for autumn-admit A&O sessions, you must be able to provide enough materials for winter and spring-admit students too if the materials is not dated
• The materials must be applicable to first-year, transfer, and international students
• Approval is not guaranteed and is dependent on programmatic fit and available capacity
• Follow up communication may be required before decision is made

Fulfillment requests (if approved)

• If your request is accepted, you must:
  • Provide 9,800 total copies
  • Have materials separated by stacks of 100
  • Materials must be delivered to MGH 120 by the following deadlines: 
    • Summer/autumn: August 1
    • Winter: December 1
    • Spring: March 1
