Through participation in Advising & Orientation Part 3, students will be able to:

  1. Identify campus resources (in-person) that will assist them with their transition to the University of Washington;
  2. Describe the importance of meeting with an academic adviser;
  3. Identify ways to enhance their Husky experience through in-person interactions with faculty, staff, and the community;
  4. Describe the value of building community both inside and outside the classroom;
  5. Identify tools to connect self-identity to one's educational experience, and
  6. Understand similarities and differences between high school, community college, and a university, and begin successfully navigating their college experience.
