We are excited that we received grant funding through the Student Technology Fee to upgrade our Learning Management System, using the Advantage Design group platform.
Through this upgrade, the following is occurring:
- Name Change: The "Pre- A&O Modules" are now called the "Husky Foundations course" to emphasize that it is foundational information for their time as a UW student. There will not longer be "Post A&O Modules.
- Supporting Campus Partners in Scaffolding Information: We are focused on ensuring the Husky Foundations course has timely information for students. By completing the course, students will be primed to deepen their knowledge in A&O Part 2 & 3 and learn the skill to actively seek information for long-term resources. We will be happy to schedule time with anyone to discuss how information may look different or be adjusted based on this change in approach.
- New Features & Visual Design: We have a new visual design for the course - see examples here. We are incorporating consistent knowledge checks and have different ways to display information than below.
