Transfer Peer Educators will do the following:
- Earn passing credit in the GEN ST 270 spring course. Course requirements include:
- Develop modules and lesson plans building on the curricular framework provided by NSTP.
- Create an inclusive and welcoming community by utilizing training provided by NSTP.
- Act as a facilitator and supporter for the GEN ST 205 C autumn course, which includes co-presenting organized lesson plans, facilitating active learning strategies, answering questions, grading weekly assignments, etc.
- Portray the University of Washington, its policies, agencies, services, and campus life in an accurate manner to transfer students.
- Adapt to remote and in-person instruction based on needs.
