Transfer Peer Educators will do the following:

  1. Earn passing credit in the GEN ST 270 spring course. Course requirements include:
    • Develop modules and lesson plans building on the curricular framework provided by NSTP.
    • Create an inclusive and welcoming community by utilizing training provided by NSTP.
  2. Act as a facilitator and supporter for the GEN ST 205 C autumn course, which includes co-presenting organized lesson plans, facilitating active learning strategies, answering questions, grading weekly assignments, etc. 
  3. Portray the University of Washington, its policies, agencies, services, and campus life in an accurate manner to transfer students.
  4. Adapt to remote and in-person instruction based on needs.
